Transgender gainesville is a place for everyone under the transgender umbrella. We provide support for people who identify as transgendered, transsexual (pre-op, post-op, non-op), crossdresser, transvestite, drag queen, drag king, two-spirited, genderqueer, cross-gendered, intersexed, androgyne, or any other members of the gender spectrum as well as their friends, family, co-workers, and anyone who wishes to learn more so as to be supportive to the cause and the community.
We hold moderated discussion on issues important to transgender people on the 1st Wednesday of the month at Wild Iris Books from 7pm to 9pm.
We hold support meetings for transgender people along with significant others, friends and family on the 2nd and 4th wednesday of each month at the pride center (3131 NW 13th St., Suite 62, in the Liberty Center). The meetings start at 7pm and usually end at 9pm.
